Please tell us your general location. (There are other ways to help with eating, sleeping, and stress. You still get morning sickness? Did you ask your OB for help?) Have you smoked marijuana at other times during this pregnancy?

That's nice...you're worried about her being taken away but really, who cares what effect smoking that will have on her....I mean afterall, you need to eat and sleep and EVERYONE knows there is nothing that your doctor could give you that would help with that AND be safe for the baby. Plenty of women manage pregnancy without resorting to drugs that may harm the baby. I wonder how much and how often you have been smoking...seems that you care about yourself more than the baby. Maybe things will be better if the baby does get taken away.

Did that sound harsh? Good. It was meant to be.

My doctor new I had smoked at the beginning she said it could help. Yes I still get morning sickness.very badly. I don't care more about myself. My doctor recommended that I did.

As an obstetrical nurse I know many OB/GYN's, but I have yet to work with one that recommends smoking marijuana during pregnancy.

With that said, your child will not get taken away from you. You may have social services meet with you to develop a parenting plan and you may have to submit to drug tests for a time. If you drop dirty during that time losing your child might be a possibility.

And the child may be born with an addiction and have trouble, for a while after birth.

But yes, social services will most likely meet with you, and require classes and perhaps drug testing into the future

Your doctor said it's fine and even recommended you do it yet in your question you said you are scared to ask your doctor about it....no doctor would recommend this and IF they did, why would you be scared? Total BS.
