So... I was an idiot, drank on vacation AND got anxious on a plane and had a few drinks. So, I panicked and read somebody's way of "flushing" their body. Not sure how, or why, someone would ever do this more than once because I can assure you I will abstain from alcohol, altogether now.

The "system" was as follows:
One whole pot of coffee, followed by one whole pot of tea
Take Midol (diuretic to assist pee)
Continuous, and rigorous water intake until two hours before test
Emergen- C, don't pee after this step until test

I drank two vente black coffees, several glasses of water, took Midol... and then went to the hospital, where my potassium levels were so low, I could've caused severe nerve damage. I must've peed about 30 times.

I'm just wondering... is there any chance that worked? Or did I almost kill myself for nothing else but my own stupidity?

When was your last drink? When was the test?

It sounds like you could fail because of what you did to try to pass.

"and then went to the hospital, where my potassium levels were so low, I could've caused severe nerve damage". "Or did I almost kill myself for nothing else but my own stupidity?" So much for other peoples "systems". If nothing else, you would fail for dilution.

LOL! You went through all of that and will probably fail the test because of it.

Yeah... you sure went out of your way to make sure you failed one way or the other. You will probibly get your wish.

Now are you going to take this drinking problem serious pass or fail before it kills you....and it will eventually

You don't provide enough information one when you drank, how long between your last drink and the test, and how much you drank.

But having said that, it's very likely you'll fail simply because of what you did to try and flush your system. Hardly seems worth almost dying, does it?

I doubt you will pass, but I am glad you learned your lesson from this experience.
