I was Looking to buy a Pioneer brand ductless mini split unit from Amazon. Have you heard of Pioneer? If so, do you know how long they have been around? I need to be somewhat sure replacement parts will be available for it if I need someday. I don't wan't be out of 700 dollars should something go on it and I can't find the part to fix it. Josh

Some reviews (http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-Conditioner-Dehumidification-Ventilation-Installation/product-reviews/B0095I9IAQ)

Their Website (http://www.pd-hvac.com/pioneer/)

The BBB (http://www.bbb.org/south-east-florida/business-reviews/air-conditioning-contractors-and-systems/parker-davis-hvac-systems-in-doral-fl-92007529) has very little to say about them.

The brand is owned by Parker Davis HVAC Systems, Inc. They are located out of Doral, Florida near Miami. They were established in 1995 and now have several factories around the world. Their contact information can be found here (http://www.pd-hvac.com/contact).

Would not buy through the internet unless I had installed and used these before. Probably be happier with local purchase.
