I was currently leasing a laptop of a 36 month term at £25 per month approx. I wanted to check when my term endend so I could return it to the as have no use for it any longer. When I called them, there said your contrat ran out in February 2014. And said I would have no chance of a refund from February to September 2014 as I still had the laptop. I have not received any notification when my term was up. And no I've got to return the laptop to them or I can buy it for £60, and I've said I've brought I've 20 times over and more, they said that's it wec ant do anything no refund or anything. Please try and help me not sure what I can do know thank you .

In a rental, you do not own, you have to pay a fee, that fee should be listed in the contract.

So yes, you either pay the fee, or return the laptop. Leasing is normally one of the worst ways to have one

Help with what? Do you think it is the store's responsibility to inform you when the lease expired? Does it say anything in the contract about that? Whenever I've leased anything I've known when it ends.

So you kept the laptop past the end of the lease and continued to pay. So they assumed you wanted to continue the lease. Why would you think you are entitled to a refund? And yes, you probably did pay the value of the laptop. Whatever possessed you to lease one for that long? I can understand a few months, but 3 years?

You don't want to pay anymore, then return it. Want to keep it, pay the 60. If you think you are entitled to anything more I don't see it.
