I want to start writing a book but I don't know how. I've never written anything before.. well I wrote essays and stuff for college but that's all. I'm new to this whole book writing thing... So can some tell me how to do it?

Thanksxox

OK what are you passionate about? Find a theme, is this fiction or non fiction? Think about how characters interact? Think about your experiences and how they fit.
Develop a frame work of chapters which are basically topics, if fiction develop some characters, look at Shakespeare, how he developed characters, there are other good examples. Where is this going

You think of a basic theme,
And start one chapter at a time. During writing, new ideas come, you may add earlier chapters, you start by writing.

What is prompting you to do this? What do you want to write about? To wrote a book you sit down at your computer open your word processor and start typing. But first you need to figure out what you want to write about. You don't just decide to write a book.
