I need to solve for X. I need your help, I have been stumped for about 10 minutes.
Question is
2^3 * X + 9 = 2^2 * X - 23
^ Means to the power of
* means Multiplied by
X is the variable not a multiplication sign
I think it is no solution because i cant simplify to find X

If you can find X then you have your solution. And just to check that you understand how powers work, you do realize that 2^3 is 8, right?
