I've been on parole since 2006 now its 2004, at first could not drive "operate a motor vehicle", I would ask almost beg, but they said no, I had to work and would get caught and meet with supervisor and I would explain I have no one, I have to work, finally once my po recommended me for quarterly reporting, when I got approved, I asked if I could drive, she said she doesn't see anywhere saying I cant drive or at her discretion I can drive but not to quote it; so I been driving even go report in my car and now my new po even went outside to see my car, he just tells me to stay out of trouble and to keep doing good; but like I just finished paying some school payments I took in prison, my new po told me he had to update my restrictions or conditions that I no longer or that I already paid my school from prison, BUT when I signed the conditions the "shall not drive a motor vehicle" was still there, he gave me a copy and it hurt bad that I been doing good but it still shows, THEN I read on the conditions it says "AS PER PAROLE OFFICE" or at po's discretion or if he applies it, just like the "shall attend AA alcohol meeting", I already completed those and I no longer have to go YET is still shows as a condition, I AM UNDERSTANDING that those conditions are there IF the parolee or me, messes up, then they can impose/apply/enforce those restrictions/conditions, NOW on the leaving out of state, most definitely let your PO know and ask for permission, if its job related, possibly will approve if you tell him where, etc; also like in my case, I asked to go to Mexico to see Divorce or marriage records for my ExWife or soon to be and he said I could but I needed to give him the address and name and phone and he would have to have it approved by board and verify info, but I didn't go or ask, decided to Google and get it by other means,

Jmaegm, This new question should be in its own thread.

Also you should delete your contact info. from your post.

And finally, what is your question? You could ask the court which sentenced you to update the conditions of parole.

The reason you give for wanting to go to Mexico makes no sense, by the way. Write a letter or two. It would be much cheaper.

What is your question?

You need to have your PO, give you in writing, that you can drive. You can only drive with their permission. A new PO tomorrow, could just violate you for driving, since there is no proof.
