I've been I've birth control about 4 months now, no spotting or periods during that time. On Aug 8 I lost my because pills. 2 of them on my last week. I had unprotected sex the 9 th & later that day I got really bad cramps, a lot worse then when I wasn't on because and had a regular "period" (not sure if it was my period or blood because I didn't take my pills, felt like one) Sunday I got my period and took my day 1 new pack on Sunday the 10 th also had unprotected sex period stopped Wednesday then had unprotected sex the 14 * I didn't know I had to wait a week* so basically 2 days with no pill had sex on one of them. Then didn't wait 7days for my because to take full affect and sex twice again only after taking because for 1 then the second time day 5. I'm shaking in my boots right now because 12 days later I began spotting, I've been spotting for 4 days. Could this be breakthrough bleeding? Hormones just it off wack? When I first spotted I had super light cramps , could only tell while sitting now day 5 I feel them again and its still panty liner spotting.

This is going to suck I know but you're going to need to wait until two weeks after when you would have had your period, then do a pregnancy test.

Most birth control pills work by "convincing" the body that it is already pregnant and as such should not release an egg and to close up shop for the month. Then when you get on the sugar pills the body things, well nothing here so I am going to start over. Enter your period. Now for this to work right they need to be taking at approximately the same time every day to keep that level of hormone active in your system, when you miss days the amount of hormone dips and you might ovulate. That is when you could become pregnant. So you could be pregnant now, it is hard to say. I have a friend who has a beautiful little girl because she missed two or three days of pills.

The funny thing is that the pills will not harm a growing child if it is conceived out of a "Whoops!" moment. Continue taking your pills and test in a few weeks.
