I have a Lennox G26 Series and occasionally when our thermostat is in the off position the system will blow air out of vents inside and outside are is coming out of the heating exhaust pipe on side of house. What ever could this be?

No, it is in the basement, our thermostat is in the off position and the fan is set on auto
