I was released from the hospital a few weeks ago with PID. Pelvic inflammatory disease. I was on antibiotics for 3 weeks. I completed my medication and went for a follow-up. No test were done. Now, I have this yellowish odorless discharge. I went back to the doctor to visit my internal medicine doctor two weeks after my ob/gyn visit. She told me it was a yeast infection. I took the antibiotic for the yeast infection and the discharge has not stopped. I thought my cycle had started today (8/22/2014) so I sat on the toilet and when I wiped there was no blood. I looked in the toilet it was about a handful of discharge in the toilet. My cycle isn't due until next week but my lower abdomen is cramping bad. I've taken a hydrocodone and the pain hasn't eased up at all.

Yellow discharge isn't abnormal per say. The odorless is the confusing part if you were diagnosed with a yeast infection. A yeast infection has a distinct odor and the discharge is white and chunky. Yellow tinted clear discharge, unless the amount has changed drastically, isn't abnormal.

That aside, I think you really need to see your doctor as soon as possible. I think the PID is acting up again and that they might not have gotten it all worked through yet.

My next doctors appointment is September 8th. Should I wait until my appointment or reschedule for a earlier date?

It honestly depends on how bad the pain is, if you're taking the drugs you're saying for the pain I would try to reschedule as quickly as possible.19 days is a long time. Now it might go away in the mean time but there is no saying it won't come back. Solid answers and quickly I think is the best course of action.

Please reschedule as quickly as possible. PID left untreated can cause infertility. You need to see if the PID had returned or if this is something entirely different.
