This has been the worst few weeks of my life. Last month I did my annual pelvic/pap exam and a few days later I was called and told that I had BV. They prescribed me Flagyl, which I took but unfortunately did not finish because it would cause my stomach severe upset even when I ate before taking it. I then noticed I felt very itchy down there, so bad to the point it burned and hurt to pee or wipe. 2 weeks later I got the dreadful call that I tested positive for Chlamydia so I had to take four 250mg of Zithromax to get rid of it. I hadn't had any problems for that first week but now I am feeling the slight itch and its still sensitive down there, thankfully not as bad as it was initially but its still a nuisance. I figured the antibiotic for the STD worked but the BV hasn't been completely cured since I didn't finish the treatment. I am also on Ortho Tri- Cyclen Lo and I read that can also cause vaginal irritation in the first few months (I've only been taking it for 3 weeks now). I know I don't have any other STDs I have been tested came up negative. I'm calling my Dr. as soon as his office opens but until then I'd like some feedback because this has been such a miserable experience and I just want my Vagina to be healthy again

I think you're spot on. It is a different bug that cause BV and Chlamydia. Since you didn't finish the course of anti-biotics for the BV it didn't go away. So when you go to your doctor tell him exactly what you posted here. Be honest and you will receive the best care. Lie about taking all the BV antibiotics and he might go down the wrong course in treating you.
Did you take the BV drugs as prescribed? It isn't unusual to get side effects like that but most people usually power through them because a week's worth of an upset tummy is better than an itchy infected lady bits. You will probably get a different drug. Take it and don't stop unless you get severe side effects. Good Luck

Thank you for your answer! Really gave me peace of mind. Well they told me to take it 3 times a day for 7 days but the pain was so intense I took it twice a day for 5 days straight. I still have the remaining pills for the last 2 days that I was suppose to take. I just gave my Dr. a call so he is going to prescribe me with another weeks worth but I have to eat a full meal 30mins before taking it this time. Another concern is battling a yeast infection once I am done taking Flagyl. Will eating yogurt help at all? I eat Activia Probiotic yogurt about 3 times a day, I eat fruits, vegetables, and I drink a lot of water on a daily basis. Is there any natural remedies I can use to prevent a yeast infection post antibiotics?

The best way to deal with a yeast infection is an over the counter pill. My wife prefers the oral pill with the cream to sooth her lady bits. There is precious little you can eat to prevent a yeast infection, sorry but by time it gets down there the food is just the digested nutrients and sugar.
Just remember to take your pills as prescribed because you could have recurrent infections if you don't.
