You are being smart in being wary, but there is a very high likelihood that you are being scammed. That likelihood increases to an almost certainty if you are being asked for money.

Ghana is a third world country... most people there have never seen a toilet that flushes. And was already pointed out... if it's a femal, and Ghana is involved.. its almost certainly a scam. Find a woman local to you. There isn't a place on the earth where there are no women.
