Pop up body has four holes, they are shown in the manuel, water pours out of them when the sink is hooked up. What can I do?

Hi GAMiller

Hmmmm... all pop-up assemblies have holes in them (except for vessel sink pop-ups), which leads me to wonder if you are hooking this drain assembly up to a vessel sink of some kind? If you are trying to use this pop-up assembly on a vessel type sink then that will not work and you will need to purchase a vessel sink umbrella type pop-up assembly and install that.

If you are using a regular sink then either you are missing the domed washer on the underside of the sink, you have cracked the washer, or the washer did not square up to the sink properly... that kind of stuff, right?

If I am off base and my answer is not helpful/correct, please share a little more information or show us a picture of this setup, OK?

Back to you...

That is a standard 4" spread faucet to be installed with a regular sink. The 4 holes pick up the overflow. The big domed washer goes with the dome up against the sink bottom and the nut tightens it against the washer. Should not be seeing the holes.
