I have realistic oil paintings of various fruits and vegetables with only a signature of "Shafer" on the lower right corner. The "f" has a dropped-down curly-que. The only clue is a label on the back, "Left Bank, 1542 Polk St., San Francisco, CA". I believe the paintings were purchased between 1966 and 1975. An Internet search has not revealed any similar artist signature or painting style. Can anyone identify this artist for me and any other information about the paintings would be helpful. Thank you.
