With irrgular cycles how does a pregnancy measure?
From my last cycle my doctor said I was pregnant and 7 weeks 1 day. Just using my last cycle which are very irregular. She also didn't take blood for my hcg levels.
Today at my sonogram I measured 4weeks 6 days. And had blood taken that measured out to me being 5 weeks.

However based on my last cycle they are saying I have miscarried. I have not had ANY type of bleeding nor cramps. Only slight discomfort in my back one day. I go back however Friday for retest on my levels. But curious is it possible to still he pregnant and just have wrong dates due to a very irregular cycle.

Usually an ultrasound is going to be a better indicator for the very reason you stated... the possibility of irregular cycles. Add to that, even with regular cycles, not everyone will become pregnant at the same time after a period. Early ultrasounds show pretty specific markers from one week to the next, so they tend to be fairly accurate. Not exact, but the closest possible short of having had medical assistance in becoming pregnant.

If you are still pregnant, your hcg level from the blood test should show an increase when you have it taken again. Another ultrasound may show some difference, but that early on, not a great deal is usually seen.
