I was wanting to know if there's anyway I can transfer probation to Ohio from Indiana? I caught a drug case back in September 2013 in Indiana and was dealing with CPS about my son. I have never been in trouble before in my life. This is my first case, and I got 6 felonies against me but plead guilty to 2 charges. I am going to get probation just not sure how much or if I'll also get more jail time being my first offense, I'm hoping no more jail or even prison time. But I was born and raised in Ohio, all my family lives in Ohio and I was only in Indiana for my husband and my son. I was wanting to know once I get probation in Indiana since this is where my case is if I can get it transferred to Ohio where I have all the support from my family and a place to live? I am having to stay with my in laws, but I have no support from them at all. There only letting me stay with them to be with my son, and don't care if I have support from them to move forward and do better. I am trying my hardest to get my son back but have to wait until I get sentenced to get my son back. So I was wanting to know if I can get my case transferred to Ohio from Indiana since I have all the support from my family and don't have support from my in laws, and my son will be with my family as well hopefully before I get it transferred if I'm able to. If you could please let me know if it's possible I get it transferred if I was a resident of Ohio all my life before I moved to Indiana a few years ago, I'd really appreciate it.

That's what your probation officer is for. Talk to them and do not leave without approval.
