This movie may have been on IFC about 10 years ago. It is about a child molester that moves into a family's basement and starts writing a book called, "My Confession". Nobody likes his story but the other man in the house, who lives with his mother and sister writes a story that he puts on the internet and he becomes a famous writer. The story is so horrific his own mother kills herself over it. The guy in the basement has a kid with the girl upstairs and has to become a garbage man.
