My current cast iron shower drain is rusted out and leaking. I have tile flooring in the shower and it's on the second floor. I'm not sure how to go about replacing it. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sean

A great deal depends on how far down the rust goes in the old drain. It could be as easy as inserting an Oatey twist n set drain Twist-N-SetŪ Replacement Closet Flange | Drains & Closet Flanges | Oatey (http://www.oatey.com/products/drains-and-closet-flanges/closet-flanges/twist-n-set-replacement-closet-flange) If the rusted area is further down like at the elbow then you need to open the ceiling in the room directly below the drain to see what's going on.
