Hello, I was wondering if somebody drank 5 odule's from 8-11 p.m. Saturday evening, and took a test (oral swab) Monday evening around 7:30, could that have a possibility of a positive EtG result?

Thank you

Yes it could. O'Douls can have up to 0.5% alcohol. Read the label.

Yes, you could fail this test. Anything with alcohol in it, even hand sanitzer, mouth wash, cough syrup, could cause you to fail an ETG.

My opinion- no way you will fail that test. 5 Odouls only has the alcohol of 1 regular beer. That would have been out of your saliva within 24 hours.

AntC, I'll have to tell that to a friend of mine that had to take an ETG for a job, didn't drink any alcoholic products at all, and failed at 51hours. How? She used hand sanitzer 2 days earlier. She didn't drink it, she used it as prescribed. She failed the test.

The only reason she found out it was the hand sanitizer is that she went back a week before the test writing down everything she ate, drank, etc. etc. and that was the only item that had any alcohol in it.

So, in other words, your opinion, as usual, doesn't mean a heck of a lot. But thank's for once again telling someone that's required to have ETG tests, that it's okay to drink, because they'll pass, in your opinion. Apparently that's what we do now on AMHD. :(

I do not tell anyone to drink. I answer questions with the data from scientific studies. I am sorry you feel that way. All I offer is my opinion, based on data, NOT an absolute guarantee. As I have posted before, all these OPs have ALREADY drank. They just want an opinion on their chances. That is all I give them.

You're right, you don't tell anyone to drink, you just tell them they're okay to pass after they've had alcohol, no matter the time frame.

I answer questions with the data from scientific studies

I've read the links you claim are scientific studies, as have others, and many of us have pointed out the flaws in those studies and why they're not accurate. Those links didn't pass the standards set on this site for accurate information. Just because it's on the internet, doesn't mean it's true!

All I offer is my opinion, based on data, NOT an absolute guarantee.

If I had a dime for every post where you told someone they'll pass, I'd be rich. As for your "data", I already mentioned that in my above comment.

As I have posted before, all these OPs have ALREADY drank

How do you know this? Are you friends with every poster that posts about passing an ETG? You have a crystal ball and see that they've already done what they say they have, and that they're telling the absolute truth? I mean, if they say it, it must be true, right? No on lies on the internet. I'm 24, 6'4", blonde hair, blue eyes, and gorgeous breasts. I wrote it online, so it must be true.

They just want an opinion on their chances.

I agree, and that's where there's an issue. You're basing your opinion on research that is sub par, even for internet research.

I'm sorry if you feel I'm being mean, I really don't want to be, but this conversation has been had with you ad nauseum. There has been much discussion about your posts on AMHD amongst other members. I'm just the only one that has the guts to tell you what the majority are thinking.

If you continue to post sub par advice, I'll continue to correct it. That's all I can do. You answer the way you want, make people believe they can drink as much or whatever they want and pass any test, and I, and the rest of the posters that post on the ETG forum, will post the facts. Sooner or later, if this keeps up, will have to get the higher ups involved somehow, because many of the members are upset by what you post and claim as facts.

Peace out. :)

Please post a link to the data that you use in your opinions. I am always seeking more knowledge on ETG. I base my posts on the only data I can find. I would very much like the links to the data you refer to in your posts.

I can't provide you with links. I didn't get my data online.

Please give me your sources . I have access to a great university library. Most medical journals are online however. I have an open mind, I will be happy to research any of your sources.

Lets look at this isssue this way. The poster drank on Saturday and was tested on Monday. Then poster put this question to us on Saturday, 5 days later. I ask you, why would the poster be asking this question other than trolling?

Trolling for what? I just think they want an opinion.

They would know if they failed by now. Some trollers just like to stir things

That is not for me to judge. I take OPs at face value. Maybe you have higher knowledge than me.

I have been here 8 years. Most trolls have been deleted but they have to be cornered first. This is tootsies first post so who know how this will go. If tootsie is sincere we will see it in the next few posts.
