Last week I noticed my son had what appeared to be a rash at first as the days went by it started spreading. I have never seen him inch one or complain about anything hurting him or bothering him. Finally this Tuesday I took him into see his pediatrician who looked with her magnifying glass and saw that they had puncture wounds in each bump in his body. She wasn't sure of what specifically was biting him but brought up the idea of bedbugs. Only reason she brought this up was told her that I had came back from visiting Rancho Mirage and staying at a resort which has four stars. Of course I went home with anxiety and went crazy around my house looking everywhere I could possibly imagine every milk every cranny and still cannot find any evidence of that. I have had countless sleepless nights and nightmares and can't stop googling about this problem. Yesterday I took them to see a dermatologist and I was feeling good thinking he was able to identify what was biting him. Disappointing as it was he did not give me a certainty of what it was but said that shouldn't worry too much about it, it's probably not a bedbug. Today I got my carpets professionally steam cleaned feel a little better. I even went and got out his upholstered chair that we read on out of his room and put it in the garage. I also just bought a mattress encasement for his crib. Has been and I have no bites whatsoever. In the past 2 nights my son and I have been sleeping in his room on an air mattress. His bike only appear on his arms mainly his stomach area is but and his legs and maybe one at the ankle. They are all scattered all around which confuses me but they are some bites that are in "twos" I don't know what else to do can someone please help me. I can show you pictures.

It's rare for bedbug bites to appear singly or even in pairs. One insect will typically leave 3 or more bites in a straight line or a curve if there are more than three. This is a result of the bug moving as it feeds. Multiple insects will leave a rash-like pattern.

The cleaning was a stroke of genius. That should eliminate insect and arachnid causes all by itself. Keep the furniture a few inches away from the walls to keep spiders from harboring in the shadows. It actually sounds like you have done just about everything already. Monitoring to make sure that that's all that needs to be done is next. Keep a close eye on him and keep the doctor's number handy.

Thanks for your response. These bites are just everywhere on his body and it's very hard to tell if there in pairs or in threes tell you the truth and they are mostly on his torso stomach area and even inside his diaper around his butt which is so weird. I wish there was a professional that can tell me the type of bug that is. My husband and I have not been bit at all. I Hate feeling helpless and limbo.
