I started my peroid 5 days ago and on Monday July 14th I got my second depo shot and I'm still having my period how long will my period last..

You may have some bleeding continue that is related to having had the injection, even if you didn't experience it before, as the depo can throw your cycle off. It is very individual as some women will have spotting or bleeding for quite a long time, others find that their periods eventually stop, and still others will no longer have periods, but may have intermittent bleeding now and then.

I have read online that it effects everyone different.. a friend of mine said it probley due to the fact when I went and got the first depo shot I was not on my peroid and I didn't have one up until now.. she had the same thing happen but hers stopped after seven days..
