Hi, newbie here.

My AC is having issues: the outside unit is working, but the blower fan is not. So I tested it out with these findings:
1. Normal condition: Ctrl - cool, Fan - auto, as stated above;
2. Ctrl - off, Fan turned to on, fan is working (air coming out from vent);
3. Then turned Ctrl to cool: AC unit starts working, but fan stopped, and no air coming from vent.
4. For fear of coil freeze, I turned ctrl to off and left Fan at on for several hours.
I then tried again by turning ctrl to cool, same issue. No change.

Can somebody figure out what the issue is, furnace control board, AC unit control, evaporator coil, or?
