I want to hang a ceiling light on the wall, replacing a bathroom vanity fixture. It is a Style Selections 4-head adjustable track light, Item 0353275, from Lowe's, and here is a link so you can see it:
http://www.lowes.com/pd_353275-53027-EC3088SBA_0__?productId=3436282&Ntt=style+selections+4-head+adjustable+track+light&pl=1&currentURL=%3FNtt%3Dstyle%2Bselections%2B4-head%2Badjustable%2Btrack%2Blight&facetInfo=)

It is technically a track light, and supposed to hang from the ceiling. But the bulbs fully articulate, so I CAN hang above bathroom vanity (replacing a unit that is there) and point the bulbs/globes straight down. Why is this a problem? Also, the instructions say most homes built before 1985 have supply wire rated for 140 degrees F. My house was built in 1990, but in TX, so who knows if they are using the updated wiring. Says to consult a licensed electrician before installing. Really? So I'm to pay for an electrician to look at the fixture and my wiring, and then if it's no good, I pay for them to come back and do it again with another fixture, before anything is installed and done? Am I wanting to do something really difficult here, or can I indeed install this on a wall? Thanks!

is it listed for wall mounting? If so, the yes...
