No one here can tell you what is actually going on.  You need to see a doctor for that.  With that said some bumps/lumps are normal.  Some are not.  Cancer is not an old peoples problem.  It can strike anyone at anytime.

See your doctor or a gynecologist for an initial breast exam. This way you can learn what is normal for you. As hormones change throughout each month, so too may the lumpiness that you feel. Once you know what the norm is for you, you'll be better able to determine whether something is of concern.

There have been many genetic contributors found that will increase your chances of cancer astronomically, enough so that the cancer will get to a noticeable size early on in life. That being said, and has been said, it is best to have a doctor look at it and determine if there is a possible tumour or if that is just the texture and feel of your breast. As you know every woman's breasts are different, to each other and to other women's, and that is expressed in many different ways; size, sag, amount of fat to actual breast tissue, nipple and areola size and colour, to name a few. This is only my experience talking, but I have noticed that some perfectly normal breasts have a rough 'ropey' texture. They're not just the soft mounds of fat but have something in them.

I say this because the mind tends to jump to worst case first and probable case last. It could be that this is just the texture of your breast, or there is something going on. See a doctor about it.
