My husband violated probation. He had an expired tag, FTA. For traffic tickets. He has already served time for his tickets. He's been in there for two weeks. His P.O had put a hold on him. It's his first violation. He was going to get a tag the day after he had got pulled over. Also he had seen P.O. two days before he got pulled over and paid a fine because of his warrant. Do you think that'll make him do the 90 days? Is there any chance his P.O will uplift the hold? What's the worst that can happen with something as minor as that?

Driving with expired tags is NOT a minor thing, a parking ticket is a minor thing. You get renewal notices several months before they expire... he had plenty of time and chose to waste it. A Failure to Appear is also pretty serious... it implies a flagrant disrespect of the court.

When you forget.. you don't drive at all until you get them renewed.

This is completely in the hands of his PO. And a lot depends on what if any attitude he displayed when he was in his meeting on how the PO will act towards him. Only he and the PO know for sure how that was.
