I bought a house in the winter time, so did not think to check my outside faucets but now that it is summer. My front outside faucet works, but the one in my back of my house do not work. Would anyone know how to find out how I can get water running back to it?

First you need to find if water is getting to the faucet. What other faucets, sink, tub etc. are on the same line? It could just be that there is an inside shut off that was never opened. Look over all the piping. You could try to disassemble the faucet but if it is under water pressure may be difficult to shut back down. I would shut off the house water, disassemble the faucet and then slowly turn the water back on. tell us what you find.

Thank you, I did that. Looked all around and could not find a pimp shut off valve in the anywhere that I could test to see if it would turn it on. Took the faucet apart and nothing came out but a few drops of water.

Could be a freeze type on the front of the house and no need to shut off the flow in winter. The rear one may be a normal type and needs to be turned off inside the house. There has to be a shut-off valve somewhere in the basement for the flow to be totally gone. Especially if you have water everywhere else. The winter freeze free valve is about 10-12 inches inside the house and should not freeze up or need to be turned off. Just my thoughts.
