I just have this feeling I'm pregnant, I have never been pregnant before, I'm 24years old. I got my "period" on the 19th of June. It was different, it was shorter, my period usually lasts 7days this lasted 4. It was a different color a light pink color and by the end of it, it was brown. And it was a very light "period" my periods have always been extremely heavy especially the first 3 days.. I went to the doctors the day the bleeding or "period" stopped and blood test said negative. Dr. Sent me to get an ultra sound on the 30th of June(this past Monday)and she said theirs no sac or growth. I'm just not convinced so she re-tested my blood today. My body just FEELS different intuition or not something is up! Eating patterns, my boobs don't hurt yet but the aerolas are a bit bigger and puffy looking. I also have noticed what looks like little tiny white head looking pimples on my nipples themselves. What is going on?? Am I jumping the gun and looking for answers that can't be found yet?? Please help!! I would literally only be 2 weeks pregnant if I was, I am just frustrated and need to know something!! And yes I've looked into implantation bleeding and thought that's what that "period" of mine was!! When my dr looked at the ultrasound today and said my uterus wall was thick because I must have just had a period, so even my dr is telling me it was a period that was prob just different because of "stress" as she says.. all home pregnancy tests say negative! I get my answer tomorrow on what the blood test I took today will be. Keep in mind I took a blood test the day I stopped that "period" and would have been 5days pregnant and that came back negative. Someone please help.

Hi Hope234,
IF the bleeding you had was part of early pregnancy or possible implantation bleeding, the blood test the day you stopped would have been too soon, even for a blood test. The one you just had will be accurate.
Also, if you were only two weeks pregnant, an ultrasound wouldn't have been conclusive for a pregnancy. If the bleeding was from early pregnancy, which can sometimes happen, you would be further along and it would have likely been noticed on the ultrasound. A week or two can make a tremendous difference in early pregnancy of what can be seen or not seen on ultrasound. When did you actually last have sex that you think may have resulted in pregnancy?
More than likely this has just been an off cycle, which can happen. You'll have to see what your result is. If your test result is negative, wait and see what happens when you would expect your period for July. You could always test again at that point if need be.

DoulaLC.. Thank you for answering, it seriously means a lot to hear what could be going on with me. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend the 15th,16th,17th, and 18th of June. I think it happened the 15th. No pull out method or condom used on any of the days. And I haven't been on birth control since I was 15.

Well.. I woke up this morning with a sore left arm pit and a gel like clear glob discharge.. I've looked it up and I must be ovulating now?? So I couldn't possibly be pregnant :( sad.

When you had the slight bleeding on the 19th, was the about the time you would have expected your period anyway? It is possible that the slight bleeding was due to the frequent sex over the previous days. Sometimes there can be irritation to the cervix that may cause some spotting or light bleeding.
While the clear discharge could be due to ovulation, you would need more than that to go on to know for sure as discharge can fluctuate throughout a period. Often the discharge associated with ovulation will become more fluid, clear and stretchy, and may last a few days. See what happens with what you are experiencing. If this is possible ovulation, now would be the time to be having sex. Pregnancy is most often achieved from frequent sex in the few days leading up to suspected ovulation and a couple of days afterwards for good measure as the egg is only viable for about 24 hours and sperm live for a few days when ovulation is close.
You didn't mention how long you have been trying, but it is important to remember that it can take many months for some couples before pregnancy happens. Some may be fortunate right from the start, but many others will find it perfectly normal to take up to a year, and some longer. That is with active trying, and it helps to learn the signs for determining when you are most likely to ovulate, or you could use ovulation predictor tests as well.

Yes the bleeding on the 19th would be when my period is due it actually came a few days early that's another reason why I've been questioning if that was my period or not. We haven't been trying to get pregnant , it would have just been a beautiful surprise.
