Hello, everyone! So, June 7th-14th my boyfriend came visit me from his home 5 hours away. We had PROTECTED sex on 7 and 8. Well, I started my period on the 9th and it lasted until the 13th. The first day it was very light, so we continued to have sex. It became heavier so we did anal. The last day, before he left we had unprotected sex. He did inside me. Right after, I took a shower, and I know that wouldn't stop the chances. Well, its July 2nd and this morning I woke up with an upset stomach, I feel as if I have to throw up, but its not coming up. Note: I have been taking diet pills for about a week now, and lost 10lbs, so I thought my stomach pain was just because of that... Well, I ate special K cereal and silk almond milk, thinking it would help, but my stomach still hurts. I had a dark brown discharge yesterday, I thought it was just from me sweating so much after my work out, it stopped right after too. This morning I was also clean, but I recently went to the bathroom and it was back, *as seen in photo* and this time I could see a little red, if I am not mistaking. I also woke up with diarrhea. My period is due on the 7th and is set to last to the 11th. (Courtesy of MY DAYS PERIOD TRACKER) Should I take a pregnancy test, or is this normal? I have been having my period for over 6 years now, and I am not the one to get cramps during or before my period. ( Knock on wood) so, this is why I am concerned.

Hi gradneyt,

It is most likely an off cycle, perhaps due to the strict diet/use of diet pills. Losing 10 pounds in a week's time could do it for some women... (might want to rethink your plan for weight loss to a more healthy approach). Certainly pregnancy is going to be a possibility since you had sex, but you'll need to wait and see what happens around the time you would normally expect your period. What you are experiencing now could be your period about to start, could be a change in hormones from the diet situation.

If this doesn't continue to become like your regular period, wait until midmonth and see if you have a normal period. If not, try a pregnancy test, being sure to follow the directions carefully. In the meantime, you would be wise to alter your weight loss and use of diet pills just in case you are pregnant.
