That's because 99% of "online jobs" are scams. And there are NONE which have no startup costs that are legitimate. EVERY business has startup costs.

There's a book titled Work-at-home Sourcebook by Lynie Arden. It used to be updated every year, but that's no longer the case. Your public library will have or can get you the most recent edition. The author mentions many jobs to earn money at home, but most of them demand a certain skill set or education level. Your library should have similar books on shelf, but be very careful--you will need a certain talent or training or degree to qualify. Most such jobs posted online are scams. I regularly get emails that I can earn thousands a week by stuffing envelopes or mailing packages. SCAM!

If it was as easy as just wanting an online job, everyone would be doing it. The majority are scams.
The best online job is starting your own business....selling on ebay is also something that I know many people do and make money from.

My exwife sister, earns all her income, making girls dresses and selling them online. I used to make money selling martial art supplies online. ( eBay and a couple other sites)
My son, does something with computer games and earns a little money.. sorry, he does some type of game testing.
