My bishon dog eat my sons hot dogs that were in his tackle box. She eat three of them. They were two days old. What will happen to her. She is in her crate and I know does not feel well.

I am not a dog expert, but I know that dogs tend to have a heartier digestive tract than most humans, but they're also not exposed to a lot of their "Natural" diet as they have been in the past. This means that your dog might not have the immunity that would be natural for a dog. So she's probably going to have a bit of diarrhoea and be a little unwell for a while, but she should be fine. This is the important part. If her stole changes colour, gets black or bloody than take her to the Vet Immediately.

'Designer' dogs, such as the Bishon Fraise do not have a hearty digestive system as much larger breeds, and as long as the hot dogs were not more then two days old, I would not worry too much about it. She will have an upset stomach, and like crave stated, a bit of a loose stool. I would not keep her in her crate too long, that will only upset her more if she messes in there. Get her out for a bit of exercise so her digestive tract will speed up and the food will pass through her quickly.

If she becomes lethargic, I would worry though, and at this point, a vet appt. would be in order to have her checked out.

In addition to watching for vomiting. Diarrhea, or being lethargic, if her stomach starts to feel hard, or she just doesn't seem well, take her in. Bishons are one of the breeds that can be predisposed to pancreatisis. Sometimes just enough fatty food or people food can cause an acute problem. One of my dogs just went through a difficult experience with it.

Bichon is not a designer.. it's a real breed.
