My last period was on the 27th of April, and today is June 28th. I haven't gotten my period in two months. I am eating more, peeing, and very constipated. And time to time I get a little sick, and a little burning sensation in my upper belly like a heart burn feeling but in the tummy. Also I have not sore breast but sore nipples. Nipples are very sensitive, along with a tiny rash that has accrued under my belly button. It was there for about two days and disappeared. Could I be Pregnant? I've taken two home test and because I have no insurance I went to the health department and the test they gave me came back negative but the test they took looked just like the one I took at home. So I'm unsure. Please need advise.

If your periods are normally pretty regular, pregnancy would be one of the first reasons to suspect for not having them. When did you take the tests? If it wasn't recent, maybe try another one in about a week, making sure to follow the directions carefully. The test at the health department likely was very similar to what you used as most urine tests at the doctors are the same kinds of tests that you would buy yourself.

If you test, and get another negative result, it really would be best to see a doctor. They will obviously do another pregnancy test, but may also do a blood test or perhaps an ultrasound. If not pregnant, then other possible reasons for a lack of periods would be looked at. Get some references from friends, family, or coworkers. Call and find out about making payments as many offices will help you with payment arrangements and perhaps even paying on a sliding scale.

I have the same questions Doula does. When was the last time you tested? When you tested did you use first morning urine and follow the directions exactly?

There are some women that don't get a positive result until their second trimester. Some never do, their entire pregnancy, even though they are in fact pregnant.

I will concur with the others,

The test should always be first thing in the morning, as soon as you wake up. Using first urine of the day.
