What holds the deck to the mower on the left rear of the deck, a bolt or a pin? This is on a early '79 John Deere model 111. I can not find reference to either.

The hanger has about a 1/2" pin/rod that fits through a hole on a deck weldment. There it is secured with a washer and a hairpin cotter.
