I have a 5-year old Kenmore dishwasher 665.1374k601. Panel buttons will not turn anything on. Only heated dry and high temp buttons will light up. Thermal fuse checks OK. Both door switches check OK. Tried the heated dry-high temp button press series to reset board. All lights come on and dishwasher goes through a diagnostic cycle, but there is no change in the problem. I noticed during the cycle that the motors and pumps seem to be working. The heating element got warm. I figured the control board was bad and replaced it. But, there is no change. Same symptoms.
This is board W10084141. With both door switches closed, it has voltage at both P8 and P6 (the tan wire and black/white wire). Is there any way to determine if the control board is actually bad? Is there a fault tree diagnosis chart available?

You will have to find each safety and test it with a good digital meter. They may look good, but you have to test them. Also, I have found bad connections where wiring harnesses hook up. Look at those carefully and get a can of contact cleaner. Check the plugs that attach to the control board. They fail long before the board will. Just one tiny bit of corrosion will cause these problems. Good luck. Use your meter.
