I see there is a court judgement against me from 2008 but I have no idea what it is for. How do I get access to this judgement? I live in PA.

Did you blow off any letters where you were being served back then? Apparently you were, they had a court hearing you did not attend, and the other party won by default because you failed to show up. THey probibly also have a writ of garnishment to collect it dated shortly after that.
You find out what court issued it...and who won it. Where did you hear about this judgement, they might have enough info to point you in the right direction.

Credit card you never paid off?
Sometimes these are judgments against the wrong person, and unfortunately the burden is on you to prove it.
There should be a docket number on the judgment. Go down to your local court, pay a small fee, and get a copy.
If you don't have a docket number, get a copy of your credit report and it should be there.
If you were never served papers, then file a motion to vacate/set aside judgment. This doesn't always get you off, especially if you moved and attempts were made to serve you.

The first question is WHERE do you see it. Without that key piece of info, we can only offer generalities in response. As noted, you need to get the court and docket # that issued the judgment, then you go to that court and ask for the record of the judgment. But how you get that info, depends on where you saw the record.
