My boyfriend just went to jail for violating his (non drug or violence related) felony probation. He was on house arrest and his violation was misdemeanor possession of less than an oz of weed. I know he is in for min 20 days but I was wondering about the possibilities of his sentencing when it comes time for his court date. I don't really have any experience in this area and I was jut wondering what kind of thing to expect.

What his non drug felony was, is a big issue. You sort of skirted around telling us all the information. Also is there other arrests and convictions besides the one he is on probation for.

Is he working? Is there other terms of probation that have been an issue. How long has he been on probation.

Yes, he will be in waiting for a hearing from 10 to 60 days, depending on the court calendar where you live. Sometimes, they leave them in a little longer, and then release them back to probation.

Person, guess, and this can even depend on the judge, or if the judge had a fight with his wife and is in a bad mood, the day of the hearing. ( yes it really works like that)

My guess back on probation
