I have a craftsman riding mower with a 500cc Briggs and Stratton engine - when I put gas in the tank it seems to be draining into the oil - any help would be appreciated Thanks

Take the carburetor apart and fix it... apparently the needle valve on the float isn't shutting off the fuel. Or its its got a vacuum operated fuel shutoff, maybe the diaphram in it is ruptured.
