in a basketball game the probability of the eagles beating the bears is 3/5. The teams compete 4 times in a season and each game has a winner. What is the probability that the bears win all 4 contests?

If the probability of the Eagles winning agame against the Bears is 3/5, that means the probability of the Bears winning that game is 1-3/5, or 2/5. For independent events (i.e., where the probability of an outcomes is not dependent on previous events), if the probability of an event occurring is p, then the probability of that event occurring n times in a row is p^n. Can you take it from here? Post back with your answer and we'l check it for you.
