It could be bed bugs and nothing stops them except a good burning, and new mattresses.

I have to agree it does indeed sound like bed bugs.

Just so you know, we all have them. They are more prevalent on older mattresses as bed bugs live off dead skin from our bodies.

I flip my mattress and then vaccuum it once a month to help lessen the number of bed bugs.

Hi, J, I have heard of some really extreme cases of bed bugs, some with absolutely new mattresses. But if what you say is true, then I can't say I have ever been bitten in bed at night by bugs. I am allergic to spider bites but that only happens once or twice a year during the night. Are you saying that these are bed bugs bites and not spider bites ?

I don't really know tickle if it is bed bugs or spiders. But we all do have bed bugs. Every one of us.
