Yeah. Sounds like you are pumping from a storage tank and when the pump stops, the water is flowing back into the storage tank. Is that the case? If so, then the checkvalve between the pump and the storage tank is bad.


Your bladder tank sounds okay if the water comes out of the snifter valve on top. I think that's a typo. If water comes out the snifter valve, then the tank is NOT OK.

That should read. Your bladder tank sounds okay if NO water comes out of the snifter valve on top.
