I am needing to know the chances of pregnancy. I am 22 years old. I haven't had a period since I was about 17. I have been married for the last 3 years. My husband and I have been trying to conceive with no luck. I have never been on any birth control.

My gyno told me I have low estrogen levels and prescribed me on provera which forced a period.

I was wondering if I could be pregnant after having the forced period?

According to my gyno and my doctor. I have a chance. But I am scared to get my hopes up.

Help?

How long have you been using the Provera? Whether you could become pregnant would depend on if all of your reproductive hormones are back in sync and you are now ovulating.

It would be a good idea for your gynecologist to do some follow up testing as well to check hormone levels and how you are responding to the Provera.

As you continue the use of Provera as prescribed by your doctor, continue to keep trying to conceive. Hopefully you will regain regular cycles and you won't have to try too long for a pregnancy. However, it is important to know that many couples will find that it can take many months to become pregnant, even when there have been no fertility issues.
