I got mariied just 2 months earlier and gained 11 kg weight
Now I have 72 kg weight and height of 5.3 ft as I am 21 years old
Me and my husband are expecting to be parents
I am worried that I have gained too much weight
Can I get pregnant in this situation?

Hi madihaarid,
Weight can sometimes play a role in conception, but it often depends on why a person is overweight. If you are having regular periods, it can be assumed that you are also ovulating on a regular basis. That will be one of the main factors in becoming pregnant. If your periods are irregular, then you would likely have a more difficult time conceiving, simply because you would not be ovulating as often, so there would be fewer chances for conception.
There is no reason to believe that you wouldn't be able to become pregnant, just from the weight gain. It can certainly be a good idea to be as healthy as you can before becoming pregnant, so make any changes (both you and your husband) that you know would be healthy, such as eating well, watching what you drink, avoiding smoking, getting regular exercise, etc. while you are trying to become pregnant. Since you are concerned about your weight, work at getting to a more comfortable weight for you.
Keep in mind, as well, that it can take many months for some couples to become pregnant. Most women will become pregnant within a year of trying on a regular basis, but some will find it takes a bit longer and that can be perfectly normal.
