G'day,

I turned the hot water tap on in the shower this morning and just a trickle was coming out. The cold water was running just fine, and this was the same throughout the house.

I left one tap turned on and went outside to check for any leaks unsuccessfully.

After about 10 minutes of the hot tap being left on it just started flowing again?

This has happened twice in the last few weeks, we have noticed that this seems to happen after we use the washing machine?

I can't really afford a plumber so I am hoping this can be remedied by myself

Sounds like debris in the water heater, have you ever flushed it?
