Hi, I recently bought a new mixer tap for the bathroom sink.

It came with monobloc tap tails, which are too short and the female nut size too big.

I need 10mm male end and a 10mm female end. 500mm long

Everywhere I look I cannot find this size! Am I looking in vain?

The old ones from the old tap are stuck in the tap and we can't remove them to re-use them, this is driving me insane!

I can even find a 15mm to 10mm tap connector reducing coupler. Which would also work!

Please help!

By "tap tails" do you mean supplies? What is the brand name of the tap? Can you rephrase more details? Back to you, Tom

Hi Loopy

Everywhere I look I cannot find this size! Am I looking in vain?

Have you checked with a local dedicated plumbing supply wholesaler/distributer in your area...surely they can find some way to extend the "monobloc tap tails"? They may not have the parts in stock...I've run into this with this exact issue, but they ordered me some extensions and all worked out well in the end!

Good luck!

I'd have just returned this one and bought a different one that didn't have such issues to deal with. Just on the time and aggravation aspect alone. If more people did that manufacturers would not make weird variants that can't use common off the shelf fittings.
