Installing a Bathtub/Shower faucet system. The valve shunt has the side hook ups one for cold one for hot then two mixed water coming out of the bottom of valve shunt. The inside of the valves are different shapes for different water flow I would assume, which side goes to the shower and which side goes to the faucet system. One of the valves sticks out of the side a bit further than the other. There are no instructions to say which side goes up to shower. Anyone know which side goes where?

Only way I could help is if you posted a picture or provided a model number to us with something that helps identify this valve...simply too many different valves out there to be guessing and guessing would NOT be helpful to you, right?
