Can a woman in islam masterbate or use a toy if the husband is away for a few months ,as it is the husbands duty to fulfill his wife's sexual needs ,and if he is not there and the woman becomes frustrated then is this allowed what can she do about that situation .

It is my understanding that masturbation is not allowed whether an aid is used or not.
