I am trying to sell my home and the title is registered at the DMV, but they are saying that the title has to cancelled in order for me to sell. Not sure what they are talking about or what can I do to get this done. I have called everywhere.

Mobile homes with titles are like cars, you should have the title in your possession, DMV merely has records of it. You sign it over, with a bill of sale. Should be place on title, just like a car, to transfer ownersihp.

Who is "they" that is telling you this.
