I'm a 31 yr old women, I have asthma that is a mild case, I have low thyroid, and I weigh 147 lbs. I have an unknown genetic syndrome that hasn't been diagnosed yet and a primary immune system meaning I have a weak immune system where i can't fight off bacteria that well. I like to know this: If i had my tubes cut, tied and burnt in 2010, but it was a Laparoscopy procedure, can I still get pregnant and is there any other ways to get pregnant without having your tubes reverse? Is there any where that these procedures can be covered by medicaid, United Healthcare Medical Assistance, which I have from the state of Maryland?

Unfortunately, Medicaid will not cover the cost associated with a reversal as it is an elective procedure and not medically necessary. To add, a reversal is never guaranteed and carries a high risk of an ectopic pregnancy.

Not covered would be a IVF where they harvest your eggs from your ovaries. That probably wouldn't be covered.
