Hai folks!
I am Jashu, 20 year old girl studying a professional course. I broke up with my boyfriend a year ago. I had a tough time being with my ex because he was over possessive and doubtful. As days passed, I started to converse well with one of my classmates. In all project works we were teamed together due to alphabetical order. I started to like him gradually. He too spoke with me in a friendly manner. I haven't it told him about my previous relationship. I enjoyed ever moment that I spent with him. The very thought of his name would bring a smile on my face. But now, he is ignoring me purposefully. Even if I initiate a conversation he ends it abruptly with a single word. Don't know what to do. Should I ask him why he is doing so? It hurts a lot being away from him. Is he avoiding me because he learnt about my previous relationship?

Never hurts to ask. And you really don't want to be with a guy who has a problem with you having a previous relationship. You didn't grow up in a cave without any human contact. You also don't want or need to be with a person who is posessive or controlling.

Thanks for the reply. I did ask him why he was avoiding me. But, he did not answer. Now, I have made up my mind. I am not that low to beg him to talk with me. Rather I am going to ignore him and be what I am.

Way to Go. Don't waste your time on him, move on. You will be better off.

The fact that he won't even talk to you, won't tell you what's bothering him, is a huge red flag to avoid him. Imagine if you were in a relationship with him? Every time he got upset, he'd just ignore you, instead of talking things through. That's not healthy.

You're better off without him. He's not boyfriend material.
