We have done new plumbing to our existing toilet and still under construction with plumbing done and closed with stoppers. The instant gas hot water is old and it serve to the toilet and the kitchen. We have a "T" connection from the hot water outlet from the heater and goes to kitchen and other goes to toilet.
There is a gate valve to the toilet hot water line. When I try to use hot water in kitchen now, the heater does not turns on automatically. But if I shuts off the gate valve which goes to the toilet, the heater turns on. As soon as I open the gate valve again, the heater turns off instantly.

Is there a issue on new plumbing in the toilet?

Thank You Kindly

Hi Mymoontoys

Hot water does not go to the toilet...that is, unless you have a mixer valve installed at the toilet to reduce/prevent tank sweating...;) Cold water goes to the toilet. Please explain your setup, OK?

Hi Abdul

So you are feeding hot water to the toilet? I'm sorry to accentuate this, but hot water should never be fed to a toilet. Let me know more...

In terms of your question, it really is a very specific issue that requires a MANUFACTURER specific answer...simply too many brands/types across the country/world for us to guess on this! I would suggest that you call the manufacturer of the system and see what their tech. support department thinks on this

I would also suggest that you talk to the people that installed the system...must be under warranty here!.
