Did you replace the starter and battery because the truck wouldn't start?
Both ends of both battery cables need to be clean and tight.
Time to have a voltage-drop test done until you find the culprit.

See if your truck has a Starter Relay, usually located in the under hood fuse/relay box. The clicking, in fact, may be from the Starter Relay. If so, simply remove and replace--they often cost around $12. If there's a problem with the Starter Relay, power won't even get to the starter motor.
